Healthy Salads for the New Year

With nagging injuries piling on in 2009, I realized that my biggest problem was my growing waist line. This article is my collection of healthy salad recipes I discovered. I plan to use for these recipes as a part of a new healthy lifestyle change for 2010. Crunch and Delicious Vegetable Salad, Chris’ Scrumptious Chicken Salad, and Chris’ Spring Salad. With each of these healthy salads, drinking plenty of water and some moderate exercise such as walking and swimming, I have lost 35 pounds in the last six months. Thanks Kate! Most of my ideas came from my dad who has always been health conscience.

This was just in time for me Chris. I am having a very hard time losing weight. I had a huge issue with my blood pressure, which I now have a handle on. I want to lose over 100 lbs.

One other thing that helped me was to cut out eating anything with sugar in the first five ingredients and anything with white enriched flour. Whole wheat flour is ok.
