I was surfing the net for alternative health articles when I came across my friend Ron Siojo's Factoidz page. "For centuries, bitter melon has been used therapeutically in China, India, Africa and the southeastern part of the US. It is useful in medicine as an anti-tumor, antiviral and anti-diabetic source.
Test tube and animal studies of various preparations of bitter melon have shown its anti-viral activity against polio, herpes, simplex I and HIV infections. As for its anti-tumor effects, test tube studies indicates that bitter melon searches for and kills leukemia cancer versus normal/healthy white blood cells. Animal studies that bitter melon actually block the growth of cancerous tumors in the prostrate and inhibit tumor formation in other animal models". For more on this article see:

Source: Health.com "Lynda, a 48-year-old mother of three who lives in upstate New York, was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2000. While there are prescription medications for fibromyalgia, she’s found one unconventional drug—marijuana—that really does the trick.
“I would use [marijuana] when the burning pains started down my spine or my right arm, and shortly after, I found I could continue with housework and actually get more done,” says Lynda.
Fibromyalgia is notoriously difficult to treat and only 35%–40% of people with the chronic pain condition get relief from the available medications. Although there are strong opinions surrounding its use, some patients are trying marijuana—legally or illegally—and finding it can help fibromyalgia pain.
“My patients are asking me all the time about it,” says Stuart Silverman, MD, a clinical professor of medicine and rheumatology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, in Los Angeles. “Historically and anecdotally, marijuana has been used as a painkiller.” For more on this article see: Medical Marijuana May Help Fibromyalgia Pain

Nobert Soloria Bermosa says Are you suffering from a kidney problem but can’t undergo medication because the prices of drugs are so high? Diuretics are drugs that help the body get rid of excess water and salt. They assist the kidneys to produce and excrete more urine. Diuretics are also helpful for patient having heart and liver disorders.
Many fruits and some vegetables contain natural diuretics. But sometimes buying fruits and vegetables are also impractical for they are expensive as well.
Here are some natural and effective substitutes for commercial diuretics. Most of which are readily available anywhere else in the world but more abundant in tropical and sub-tropical regions. And more importantly, most of them can be obtain free except for the last one. For more see: Effective and Natural Medicines That Can Treat Kidney Disorders and Other Diseases
