Diabetes Insipidus ( or DI ) is a health condition that is often distinguished by extreme thirst along with excessively diluted urination . DI is similar in characteristics to untreated Diabetes ( or Diabetes Mellitus) but without the onset of blood glucose elevation. This test helps find out what is causing the DI and determines the type of Diabetes Insipidus the person has. The test results will determine that one of three causes are to blame medically.
