ronthoughts says "Hippocrates had all the reason to say, “Your food shall be your medicine.” The Greek and Roman had no pharmacy to purchase ointments, creams, or pills, every time someone in the house got scrapped and bruised. It was the same for our great grandparents. As customary in those days, they went to their gardens and plucked some herbs, poultice and applied them on the affected area.
Nowadays, the need for quick relief, possibly one with no side effects, still exists. We don’t want a package deal either: buy your cure, take two or three side effects for free. Health food stores carry products promising to relieved aches and pains. But you don’t have to go far or spend much more than you need. You can just walk right to your kitchen for the necessary cures. For more see: Kitchen Cures
