According to Mark Gordon Brown "Parkinson’s Disease is a horrible affliction that can rob a person of their will to live. If you are caring for a loved one with Parkinson’s it is important to keep them as physically and mentally active as their health allows. In this piece I will share some of my personal experiences of caring for my mother, who had Parkinson’s, and how I kept her physically and mentally active.

Parkinson’s Disease may not be something that you are aware of, or maybe you only know it as the disease that the actor, Micheal J. Fox, has. If you have no personal experience with this disease you can count yourself lucky. Parkinson’s Disease is defined as “a degenerative disorder of the central nervous system that often impairs the sufferer’s motor skills, speech, and other bodily functions.”. This is a very difficult disease to deal with. It's quite sad to see people deteriorate before your eyes.
