According to Dr. Kristie Leong: Vitamin C deficiency disease, such as scurvy, is less common these days due to the easy availability of vitamin C rich foods. On the other hand, some people need more vitamin C to stay healthy. Are you one of them?

Vitamin C is most commonly found in fresh fruits and vegetables, so it’s not surprising that people who eat diets devoid of produce are more likely to have low vitamin C levels. In its most extreme form, inadequate amounts of this vitamin lead to a vitamin C deficiency disease known as scurvy.
